Dealing with Break Ups

Tuesday, April 25, 2017

Ladies we've all been there! That moment when you and your lover part ways and as much as you have tried to make things work you end up at a dead end and have no choice but to let go.

So from me to you here are some tips to moving on..

I. Unfollow/Block Him Off Social Media
Even though it seems as if it is the most difficult thing to do, removing your ex from social media is very beneficial. Let's face it, as females we go hunting to find things on what we know will hurt us. So by blocking or unfollowing him you will no longer have to worry about him. I mean if you genuinely want to move on you have to try your best to forget about him and the breakup as much as you can.

II. Stay Busy, Go Out More
Ladies this is probably one of the most important tip that I am going to drop on you. STAY BUSY, I can't stress that enough! How many times have we just laid in our bed and dwelled on why the relationship went left and on what you should've, could've done to fix the void between you two. Well listen here, what I'm going to need for you to do baby girl is to get up, get dressed, go out, party, look cute and take pictures. DO WHAT YOU HAVE TO SO THAT YOU CAN GET YOUR MIND OFF OF HIM; STAY OCCUPIED!

III. Cry It Out
Moving on isn't a walk in the park whatsoever so whenever you feel the need to cry yourself a river do so babes! Let it all out. Try even reaching out to your closest or most trustworthy friend for a shoulder to cry on.

IV. Do Not Mess With Another Guy To Make Him Jealous
Ladies please, please, please refrain from messing with another dude to get back at your ex! Wrong move. Trust the process and if you're interested in someone take your time.

V. Do Not Blame Yourself
'Maybe if I didn't argue too much with him he'd probably stay' or 'Maybe if I looked better he'd probably like me more.' No baby, there was no way to have changed the end result; the bed is made now lie in it.

VII. Pray
The answer to all your problems is God. Pray for guidance in your season of heartbreak.

“Sometimes it takes a heartbreak to shake us awake and help us see we are worth so much more than we're settling for."
